I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Aflac. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”   Open Enrollment - I dread it every year. Such big decisions to make in a short amount of time and if you make the wrong decision you are stuck for a year. I never really feel like I have enough information to make the correct choices for my family.    Health Care Reform was supposed to make Open Enrollment easier but has it?  In August Aflac conducted an online survey regarding open enrollment and some...

I LOVE to shop for bargains and especially at the Holidays. I start shopping a few months early and I always pick up a few things on Black Friday but my absolutely favorite day to shop is Cyber Monday!  I prefer to shop online and Cyber Monday is THE Day to do just that.     I have gotten so many deals shopping this way. Not exactly the same as the one we love but the closest I have come and absolutely delicious. I will be making this again soon! Vietnamese Caramelized Ginger Chicken 3 Tbsp sugar1/3 cup hot water3 Tbsp...

Best of all, proceeds go directly back to the community where the product was sold. By working closely with each community, Sparkling ICE allows them to select the charity right in their region that they would most like to offer the donations to (i.e. Susan G. Komen Affiliates, Local/Regional Breast...

Today I took the boys to see “Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2” at a local Cinemark Theatre. I was fully aware that the movie was PG (for rude humor) but after seeing reviews and clips did not feel like there was anything in it to cause worry.   Little did I know that Cinemark was not really using their head. During the commercial period of sitting in the theatre, (the time when they try to get you to buy more popcorn and use whatever wireless carrier is currently sponsoring) they played two minutes long clips from the “Regular...
