This past weekend, I had the pleasure of taking my nine year old daughter to the Sugar Plum Party held at the Kentucky Center for the Arts prior to the performance of the Brown Forman Nutcracker. My daughter had never been to a performance of The Nutcracker, and The Sugar Plum party proved to be a great introduction to The Nutcracker.    The Sugar Plum Party was festively decorated with Nutcracker decorations throughout including an area to have your picture taken with some of the characters. My recently turned 5 year old daughter, Susie, loves all things dance especially ballet, and has since she was 2. Playing and watching Angelina Ballerina is a daily occurrence in our house, so I knew that she would love the story of The Nutcracker. I was however concerned about her ability to sit through a several hour production. I mean she is in fact only 5. Last weekend I attended the Pam Tillis & Friends: A Kentucky Christmas Dinner Show at the Galt House Hotel.  I can’t say enough about how nice this experience was.  Country Music superstar singer and songwriter Pam Tillis ushers in a new era of Christmas at the Galt House Hotel.  Tillis’ beautiful voice inspires holiday cheer as she sings traditional Christmas songs, as well as some of her favorites.   Pam Tillis ushers in a new era of the Holiday Dinner Show, and a beautiful voice that will inspire holiday cheer to guests.
