Summer Camp Times - 8:30am - 11:00am, 11:30am - 2:00pm, or 2:30pm - 5:00pm
Each camp is a full week, Monday through Friday (including the week with July 4th). One day camp options are available. Every camp will touch on art as described below.
There are all sorts of themed camps including Harry Potter, Legos, Slime, Super Hero and so many more!
-Focus artists this year are Frida Khalo, M.C. Escher, Mary Cassatt, Edward Degas, Paul Klee.
-Art media are Portraits/Self portraits, Drawing & Sketching, Printmaker & Painter, Paint & Sculpture, Color Theory.
-Styles covered are Op Art, Impressionism, Realism, Cubism, Symbolism, Modern Art

Kids may get paint on their clothes.

A STEM day camp where every child is a scientist! Our camps specialize in hands-on, minds-on activities for children going into PreK through 8th grade. We offer a large variety of interesting camps including Video Game Creation, Veterinary Medicine, Minecraft programming, Engineering, Space, Paleontology, Biology, Chemistry, Oceanography, Robotics, drones and much more!

Taught by Derby Dinner Playhouse theatre professionals, this one-week performing arts camp explores drama, music, and dance and ends in a final show on the Derby Dinner stage. Limited availability. Registration opens February 15, 2019.

A one-day “viewing and doing” summer camp for 5, 6, & 7 year olds! In celebration of Derby Dinner’s musical SNOW WHITE & THE PRINCE, join us for a day of fantasy fun! In the morning students will watch the professional production of SNOW WHITE & THE PRINCE, meet and talk to the cast at an exclusive post-performance talk-back, and take a behind the scenes tour of the theatre. After lunch (students bring their own), DDP theatre professionals will teach three classes in which students will learn a song and dance from the show and get their own camp t-shirt and certificate!

Summer Science Camps - Is your child ready for a fun experience at a place they love? At Kentucky Science Center’s Schools Out Summer Camp, your child will develop skills and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Our camp encourages all campers to play, tinker, and investigate the world around them with plenty of time to explore their favorite science center. Camps are based on the grade your child will be entering in the fall.

Camp Shakespeare creates opportunities for children and teens ages 4-18 to explore the theatre arts through imaginative play, visual arts, movement, storytelling, language, and more! Kentucky Shakespeare's Philosophy is to immerse young actors in Shakespeare’s ideas and words to guide them to use the power and the expressiveness of their voices, bodies, and thoughts to create great works of art. This unique summer camp experience promotes collaboration, confidence, and the desire for lifelong learning.
Dates/Times: June 10th - July 27th. Sessions are 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Drop-Off Begins at 8:30am and Pick-Up ends at 4:15pm for all campuses besides Frankfort. No Camp on July 4th.

Silver Heights is a Christian camp for kids who are 13-18. The schedule includes group and breakout lessons and devotional times with Christian teaching. There is a worship service every evening in our outdoor tabernacle and parents are invited to attend. There will also be Frisbee Golf, basketball, hiking trails, swimming, corn hole and a gaga pit. Students from Asbury University are the counselors and the kids stay in cabins or a dormitory.
Dates/Times: June 9-16, 2019. Arrival is 3pm on June 9 and departure time is June 16 after the evening service.
There is no cost for the camp but they are limited to 80 kids.

Regular day camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm with the option of adding extended hours to make the day from 8:00am-5:00pm. The "themed" portion of camps runs from 9:00am - 12:00pm, and the afternoons consist of art-centric games and activities. These camps are held at LVA @ Holy Trinity Clifton Campus (formerly the Clifton Center) unless otherwise noted.
Cost: Regular day camps are $230 with the option of adding extended care for an additional $50.
Morning only camps are $180.

Lions Camp Crescendo serves our communities through the enhancement of the quality of life for youth, especially those with special needs, by the delivery of a memorable camp experience by caring individuals, and to enable others to use the camp and retreat facilities to serve the larger communities’ humanitarian needs. These free camps are made possible by donations to Lions Camp Crescendo by Lions, Lioness, Leo Clubs and other private donations throughout the state of KY and those individuals who donate their time to serve as camp staff.
