My Family and I got to attend a preview screening of the new Disney film  “Muppets Most Wanted” last weekend and we had a great time!  This movie is funny and the kids loved it.  It was upbeat the entire time so no one got bored, and there were so many celebrity cameos in it I could not believe it!  I loved spending this time with my family having a fun Saturday morning and I highly recommend it as a family outing event!  I loved the Muppets remake that came out last year and this one just builds upon that and is great!

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.  My 7 year old kept asking, what country are they going to next because he is really into geography right now!  So, it was educational too!

The film stars Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon, and Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard.  Certainly these two comedians were the funnest additions to the movie!  I loved the scenes in which they interacted and sang with various muppets!  Who wouldn't love Tina Fey doing a snarky Russian accent!  Miss Piggy is insistent on singing a slew of Celine Dion songs for her part in the show and even she gets a nice surprise at one point!

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” is produced by David Hoberman (“Warm Bodies,” “The Proposal”) and Todd Lieberman (“The Fighter,” “Warm Bodies”). Bobin wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller (“The Neighbors,” “The Five-Year Engagement”), who is also executive producer with John G. Scotti (Disney’s “The Muppets,” “The Incredible Hulk”).

Featuring music from Academy Award®-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie (Disney’s “The Muppets,” “Flight of the Conchords”), “Muppets Most Wanted” hits the big screen today, March 21, 2014!
